More Than a Drink – The family behind the wine
Willamette Valley, Oregon

The Challenge
In a market flooded with wine ads focused on prestige or taste, Honeybee Films wanted to create a deeper story—one rooted in family, legacy, and slow intentional living. Our goal wasn’t just to show wine, but to connect an audience on a more human level.

Our Approach
We set out to capture the parallel rhythms of parenting and winemaking. Through observational cinematography, voiceover, and natural light, we followed a day in the life of Kenny and Allison—check crops and caring for their young daughter in between.
Rather than rely on scripted narration, we leaned into their authentic voices and organic routines. Every frame was designed to feel honest, intimate, and reflective of the patience it takes to grow something meaningful.

The Result
“More Than a Drink” became more than just a marketing piece. It was a portrait of a lifestyle that resonated with both wine lovers and working parents alike.
The story reinforced the idea that good wine is never just about the bottle—it's about the people behind it, the values they live by, and the love poured into every step of the journey.

Why it worked
Emotional Authenticity: Instead of focusing on process or accolades, we spotlighted human connection.
Relatable Themes: Parenthood, patience, and legacy grounded the story in universally shared values.
High-Quality Cinematography: Warm tones, gentle camera movement, and golden-hour lighting created a sense of peace and reflection.
